The metaverse and new internet technologies have proven to be a new and promising form of education, allowing students to have immersive experiences in virtual environments and interact with educational content in a much more engaging and dynamic way.

Through the use of advanced technologies such as virtual reality, the metaverse offers students a different way of learning that goes beyond the space and time constraints of the traditional classroom. It is possible, for example, to connect in a virtual environment with other people from around the world, visit historic places in other parts of the planet in an immersive way, play interactive games, or even experience simulations of real situations, such as tours in indigenous villages, a tour roller coaster rides, understanding the production process of a consumable or even understanding what causes certain natural disasters. In addition, education in the metaverse can be an alternative for people who have difficulties in attending face-to-face classes, whether due to distance, health or mobility issues. With the metaverse, you can study from anywhere in the world, at any time, as long as you have a device connected to the internet. With a more interactive and immersive approach, it is possible to create unique educational experiences capable of motivating and inspiring students of all ages and profiles.

The Amazon, with its immense diversity of fauna, flora and culture, is one of the most desired destinations by environmental educators around the world. However, not everyone has the possibility to visit it in person. The metaverse emerges as an alternative for people to explore the Amazon virtually, with educational experiences that go beyond what would be possible in a physical visit. Students can visit an indigenous village in the region and learn about the traditions and culture of local communities. It is also possible to explore the forest's biodiversity, with virtual tours that show the species of plants and animals that inhabit the region. In addition, it is possible to understand the importance of the Amazon for the ecological balance of the planet and learn about the threats faced by the region.

These educational experiences can be complemented by interactive resources, such as educational games, quizzes and multimedia content that make learning more dynamic and engaging. The metaverse allows students to learn in a more playful way, exploring knowledge in a different and challenging way.
